Greg Brickl

 Interactive Marketing Manager, Organic Valley

"Semiotx founder Peter Fraterdeus provided a broad range of services to Organic Valley's interactive marketing team between 2002 and 2007, including content development, graphic design/typography, systems administration, application development, database administration, application/technology RFP development, vendor/technology selection, and more.

"We relied heavily on Peter's extensive levels of knowledge and experience in all things interactive, which helped us move our online marketing practices into the 21st century."

Stryder Thompkins
Principal, CTSG:

"Peter's work on our project was thorough and detail oriented, but he always kept the big picture in mind -- it is all about a successful user experience. He was passionate about the purpose of the project and steered the technical aspects expertly. I hope we can work on another project together some day!"

Michael Simmons

Co-Founder and CEO, Extreme Entrepreneurship Education Corp

"Kristine is the kind of web designer we all dream of after we've had a bad experience with another designer.

"Normally, I'm used to many more back-and-forths until I get what I'm looking for. On each project I worked with Kristine on, she came up with extremely high quality work on her first attempt.

"Another thing that I really appreciate about Kristine is that she is really good at design AND CSS. This makes it so that I don't have to hire and manage two separate professionals."

Eiotx Email Migration to GMail

Dear eiotx.net mail users

Due to enormous amounts of spam constantly hitting my server I've decided to move all mail off of my Rackspace host.
This will require you to do choose one of the following options.

1 . If you are using one of my domains, ie design.org or alphabets.com
I can set up an account with Gmail for your username. Gmail charges $50/yr for this.
You WILL NEED TO PAY GOOGLE FOR EMAIL unless you choose to forego your domain email in favor of gmail.com's free account in which case you will no longer receive mail at your current domain address.

About Account Names:  If you are johndoe@doe.com, you can also receive 'info@doe.com, webmister@doe.com and sales@doe.com' all in the same johndoe mailbox. However, janedoe@doe.com, where Jane collects her mail is a separate USER ACCOUNT

2 . If you are using your own domain, ie, heavydutypress, free-assembly.org, friedmanmcneil, ljackson, numina etc
I can set up your domain and username on Gmail for $25 per account (again three aliases to the same account are no charge, if they are all set up at once). You will then be responsible for your own charges with Google of $50/yr per USER ACCOUNT (not per domain!)

3. Or YOU can arrange to have your mail and/or domain handled by a different host altogether.

I will NOT be "Forwarding" mail to other locations, since we will no longer handle incoming mail altogether.

The spam hit on the server has caused mail delivery for hosted domains to be delayed by up to six HOURS or more, which is clearly unacceptable. My own mailbox (which aggregates semiotx.com, design.org, alphabets.com and other accounts to my peterf account) is hit with hundreds of spams daily. I use spamarrest.com's service to manage this, and don't see 99% of it, but again, the burden on the server is substantial.

The server load also creates security concerns, slows down web access and so forth.

I've already migrated semiotx.com to gmail's servers.
If you choose to have me maintain your account, very little will change from your point of view, except the names of the servers you use in your mail client program, and the fact that your mail will arrive almost instantly.

I'm planning on the transition taking place by the middle of May, although my own domains such as design.org and alphabets.com will be sooner.

Please consider your options now.
I'll be available to assist with the transition, but we need to start immediately!

Please respond ASAP via this web form which will help gather the required info:

I apologize for the inconvenience, but hosting email is way more trouble for me than it once was.

Gmail, (or Apple's me.com, and similar services) has resources far far beyond my own, obviously, and it just makes sense to make this move now, before a crisis hits...
